hey, vob files are such a pain in the ass, i encoded them to avi, but almost all the encoders i use leaves streaks in the video (like sudden movements create streaks in video), this is really getting annoying, i tried more than one encoder, almost all of them leave these streak. Anyone know what do do? thanks.
Could be that you are talking about interlacing artifacts. If so then simply your source is interlaced. Either de-interlace or encode it as interlaced (not possible with all codecs).
