Would it be possible to have a pc decode and stream a ratdvd towards other devices with slow CPU's such as PDA's ? And keep the DVD-menu possibilities ? Or does this still require considerable power from those slow cpu's ?

Idea is to make some sort of dvd-library on a pc that handles only storage and decoding, and have other devices in the network use these streams...

What would be the CPU-specs of such a streaming server ?

    Kind regards,

I guess that would be possible. Basing it on UPNP AV would be cool...

That's nice you feel this is cool. How exactly would you suggest I realize this ?

    Kind regards,

    Cooled spirit.

I am not a programmer but I would suggest you discuss this directly with the ratDVD author.

The idea is great and why should it be much different to stream it to a devie than to write it to a disc? The navigation part is there...
