Hi, I was wondering if anybody knew how to stream live tv from one computer on one ip address to a different computer on a different address. I have tried to open windows media player using windows remote desktop connect and it does not work. Any ideas would be great. Thanks for any help.
VLC Player will let you stream a movie from one pc to the other but im not too sure if it supports tv capture cards. I would recommend trying it anyway and if there isnt an option then see if you tv capture software has an option to output to a file that can then be used by VLC.
OK, Thanks, I'll check that out. I did some more searching last night and I found windows media encoder series 9 and I got it to broadcast a signal. The only problem that I had was how to change the channel that it broadcasts. If anybody has any ideas on how to change the channel that would be great or a totally different program would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Update: If you click on the configuraton button when selecting the video source it will have a spot to select a channnel to broadcast.
