    Hi

I want to encode a SVCD with CCE SP 2.66. I have resized the input file with virtualdub to 480x576 (PAL). Despite I have tried several different settings, at the end I get always a stretched picture with my Pioneer DVD player (535). It seems that the picture on the TV screen is about 30% too big (in width and height). After encoding with CCE, I mux the CCE video stream and a seperate audio stream with TMPGEnc. If I encode the video stream with TMPGEnc, everything works fine. Another strange point is, that I can't adjust the MPEG paket size over 2048. I think for SVCD it should be 2324. During multiplexing I get also a message about a video buffer underrun.
    Any idea?

Have you tried using CCE SP with DVD2SVCD?? It works much better! And you can choose 16:9 aswell so there is no stretch!

I've tried DVD2SVCD but wihtout success. Now I have a solution; I've bougth a DVD burner. Encoding with CCE for DVD works without any trouble and even the quality is much better (of course).
