I just started learning how to copy DVD's and I made a big mistake. I copied the .vob files off of the DVD and put them on my hard drive. Now, I have no way of getting the ifo files. I have tried using IFOedit, but for some reason it creates this tiny little ifo file. What programs do I need to copy a .vob file onto a DVD to be able to play it in a DVD player and how do I use them?

You need to use a program called SmartRipper. Are you just trying to put the movie on your hard drive or do you plan on burning DVDs?

    KillCount,

By comparison, *.IFO files are tiny, they can be as small as 6Kb.

Don't be fooled by this. Ifoedit is very good.
