Help! I have an avi that refuses to play anymore than 1min 30secs (Its actually 40mins in length). According to Gspot, everything's fine, but WMP10 says I don't have the codecs and DivX Player can only play the first 90seconds.
First try using the "Render" feature are the bottom of the GSpot window. If the rendering of the file is successful click on the stats button (in the Render section). It will tell you exactly what direct show filter (codec) you are using to decode the file. It seems that you may have too many direct show filters installed that are doing the same thing. You have four video codecs and five audio codecs that are able to decode the data streams, respectively. One of them may be conflicting with another. Ced
