Ok first off iam in dublin and have successfully scanned all channels no prob.. i have loaded grooverider v1.01 (i have also loaded v.104.....but then i cannot access the 8989 code for emu) On the bottom of the screen i get the message "not connected" On the network menu on the SV6 i get network/ ip setup/ my set up is set to auto.... and it has detected my router 192.xxxxxx is there some other setting that iam missing.....
read here http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-59/starview_6_working-838937/3 all covered in threads for the SV6
Much thanks for the quick reply and pointer... i had to select the istream in net application in network section..... Any solution to not been able access the 8989 in groove rider v1.04 i can access it in v 1.01, but when i flash to version 1.04 it wont appear..... I have read here that u can try and switch back to a encrypted channel and back to highlight accessories and press 8989 fast... but this fails to work also rump50
ok this box was working fine for past 2 months! on firmware 101 Now get message saying not connected! (yes again...but i did resolve that last time) have box set to "istream" same message.. ALL channels are freshly tuned... Tried reinstalling firmware...same result.. Tried FTA Firmware then firmware 101 and 103 (also tried 104 but this firmware does not have the "net application" option i.e where u turn on the "istream"....option, you also cannot access the emu from "accessory" using the 8989 on firmware 104) Box is picking router up no problem , and is working with other boxes (another sv6 is fine and Dreamboxs working fine on same router! same house) Do i have a faulty box any help guys! rump

there is nothing worst than when you have to keep going to different threads with the same questions and answers
