Style Xp is a virus?

    I just scanned my computer and found 2 viruses from Style Xp(which is a program that gives you extra themes for your PC. Pretty cool). If anyone has this problem please give me some advice.+ I noticed my computer is going slower ever since I installed it. I have 512mb of RAM thinking of upgrading to 1gb RAM- is that going to help?

    Mate if it is a virus get rid of it and if u want themes that are clean.

    Dude themeworld has the worst themes ever. They're horrible!

    Hi,

    Theres a lot of skins out there with malware bundled in, Its likely that you have become victim to one of theese infected skins.

    My advice, stick to Wincustomise for StyleXp & WindowBlinds skin's.

    I gotta say i tried this windows customize site and its bloody fantastic its great and its my number one link on my profile page i had always wanted to change my login and startup screens its a great feeling to have a fresh look on my pc. :)

    styleXP and windowsblinds and any other windows skinning software results in a effect on system performance. if you want nice themes without the compromise of system performace look for [bold]uxtheme[/bold].

    you get nice looking desktop environments, without any resource penelty that 3rd party skinning software provides.

    That's waht i did.I dont use any kind of software.Just replaced the uxtheme.dll file and used the themes that you use for that kind of softwares.Virus-free forever.

    I had Style XP and it was a virus, and I had to Format my hard drive. I was mad. But ever scince I've been using WindowsBlinds it works Great!

    it is strange i m also using style xp for the last one year i didnot found any viruse in it .But ya make sure when u download threms they are not infected otherwise style xp is safe .
