This is the first time I've run into this problem, but now it's taken over me like a cancer.

I do everything like I used to, convert the srt to sup with txt2sup, author with ifoedit then change the colors in the IFO to match the sup.

So far so good. I use DVDshrink to make an ISO, and when I mount it with daemon tools, the subtitles show up perfectly when I play the movie in WinDVD 6, in Windows Media Player, in Media Player Classic, etc.

But then, after I burned the iso on an actual DVD-r, the subtitles show up wrong (the text is white, antialias gray and the outline also white) which makes it quite hard to read. Now I think this has to be a problem in the burning process (I use Nero), but I just can't understand why the ISO plays fine and the DVDR doesn't.

Does anyone have a suggestion? I'm sort of like at wits end here or something...
