Hey everyone, first time poster, long time lurker. Ok now I'm having a problem with subtitles. I had an avi, I followed your guide to converting avi to dvd, and everything went well, the movie played and everything, but I have no subtitles. I've went through it about 10 times, trying to edit the .sup file with supviewer, and I've tried editing the IFO and .sup using DVDSubEditor. I've gotten to the point where i can see the subtitles, but they are definitely not the right color and very unreadable. Would it be easier if I could use the .srt file in authoring instead? Is there any dvd authoring software that can use .srt format? I still have the .mp2 and .m2v files...I'm kind of lost as to what to do now. Also, when I try using the .sup file in VLC to see if it works, I see nothing at all. Does VLC not support .sup format?
What program you use to convert .avi and .srt file to dvd-format? (or what format your subtitles are?)
