subtitle shows way earlier than the voice after combining avi file to srt file so how to fix it?

    ive combined an srt subtitle file to avi vedio file following what the dear member "darkhadou" said ^^ and it worked out...this is the link http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/373886

    but i faced a problem that the subtitle shows way earlier than the voice so thats kinda distractive...can someone please tell me how to fix it and put it into the right timing,dark,please help if u see this =)

    and sorry if something seemed weird cuz im new into the forum so i dunno how to use it perfectly yet,thanks

    thanks alot for ur help but the video files i have are avi...i tried to load them on the subtitle workshop and they didnt open...only voice and not the graphic...please help =(

    You should be able to click 'Movie' > 'Open' and select the video type from the drop-down menu or simply drag the AVI onto the window.

    You can also find out the type of file it is by dragging it onto MediaInfo - it will list the codecs used.

    i did...same problem still,no picture just voices =(

    Can you open any other AVI file in Subtitle Workshop.

    no i cant...and sorry for not replying sooner,i went away from keyboard for a while

    I haven't run into that problem.
