    Hello,

I have subtitles (srt file) for a film I have. I got it to appear, but it is about a minute faster than the video. Do any of you have any ideas on how I might be able to synchronoze the video and the subtitles?

You can adjust subtitles sync to video with Subtitle Workshop.

Assuming that the video and the subs have the same name (myvideo.avi and myvideo.srt) run Subtitle Workshop and load the .srt file (if the avi and subs are in the same folder, the movie will load automatically).

Highlight the first sub line number.
Play with the video controls pause/stop etc and gauge where the first sub should come in.
Pause/adjust the video at this point and press Ctrl+1 (or the button, third from right, under the video window).

Go to the last sub and repeat for the last sync point.

Press Ctrl+2 (or the button, second from right, under the video window).

Set the video back to the first sub, line up the video and check sync.

Either 'Save' or 'Save as' the .srt file(don't save it to the same name, in case of error)
