Hello everybody I usually read all forums and always found solution for my problem... But there is sth I dont find answer for. Im burning films on cds some time now and know all ways to play or record subs with video... I dont know how to put subs on, already burned on cd (VCD), film. Is that possible? Someone told me to extract video .mpeg from .dat with VCDgear or Isobuster,[bold]But a would have to burn the same movie alover again on another cd...[/bold]. I want to play My "old" cd with subs on standalone DVD player. Is it realy so impossible to want to put/add subs on VCD? I was thinking to put a file in one of the folders on VCD? Stupid? well...everything rushes trough my mind anything... THANKS TIM
VCD only supports hard encoded subs, so not only would you have to reburn, you have to re-encode. A MPEG-4/AVI player might be able to play a raw mpg with external subs. Otherwise you could author to DVD with selectable subs, that way you would only need to re-encode the audio.
