So I have a movie that is in a different language and I made subs to go with it and then used nero recode to recode the movie with the subs attached. After the recode, I preview the movie file(MP4) using nero showtime and the subs show fine. I then try to use nero vision to burn the movie. After this, I try to play the movie in my PS3 and dvd player and neither one shows the subtitles. When I go to the subtitle options on each player, it says there are none? Any ideas?

If you tried to make a DVD Video with Nero Vision, you will not have subtitles. Nero Vision does not support subs(unless they added the feature in ver.9, which is a wasted bloat anyway...).You need to use a program like DVD Flick , or DVDStyler to convert to a DVD with switchable subtitles.

After you add the video, click again on the green + sign(add file) and add the subtitle file.

After you select all the proper settings(NTSC vs.PAL, chapter, menu...) yes, you can burn the project. I would chose to create an image and then manually burn it with something like ImgBurn, just to male sure the final project is all that you intended.
