subtitles

    i have 2 avi files that i am going to burn to dvd. with each of the two video files came two different files for adding subtitles(the movie is in japanese). Each video file came with a .idx and .sub. i would like to add the subtitles to the movie..how?

    You can try FilmMachine (AVI -> (s)vcd / dvd + subtitles + menu)

    If I remember right you have to make srt subtitles.
    Get Subtitle Workshop and save sub file as SubRip to get srt.

    i have a similar problem, only i have a video file and an .srt file - can nero recognize the srt subtitle file without any problems and set the disc to play the subs on a dvd?
