I love the After Dawn forums. I learned everything I wanted to know about hacking my old Motorola. So naturally, when I ordered a w810i, the first thing I did was come to this forum to see what kinds of experiences others have had with theirs. But instead, it's post after post of "unlock help please." I understand people's frustration with not being able to use their phone on other networks, but it seriously detracts from the quality of the forum. Someone else has probably commented on this, but their comment has been buried under an avalanche of "unlock help please."
i think the problem here is that no one really knows how to unlock sony ericsson phones. unlike in nokia forum where you can easily get unlock codes in a day or 2 after posting your message.
