i'm downloading the trial at the moment, dam thats quick i havent even got the sentence finished.

I'll try it out ,see what i think. Is there a specific reason you want to use this as there are already free programs out on the net that should be able to accomodate you.

Shrinkdvd (will reauthor and do full backup )
    dvd decrypter

nero (well its not free but packaged with most burners)

Then you have elbys clone dvd ver2
    elaborate bytes ver of clone.

Other prackages are : roxio (not recommended by me)
cyberlink dvd solution (yes i have an original with serial number)

Thers so many to choose from, but at the end of the day you have to be happy with what you have spent your hard earned money on.So i ' ll repost sometime today ok

    later

ok i downloaded the trial version, tried one dvd, madlax.I bought this anime thought it would be worth a try.

The program is comparable to that of clonedvd ver2 and the price is also affordable.

Clonedvd from elby have a fantastic help desk and well i emailed this mobs help desk 5 hours ago and am still waiting a reply.Tardiness towards a potential customer who can advertise there program well you can interpret that how ever you like.

To read the dvd it took 25mins, this is relatively slow for me as my pc is a p4 3.2gig chipset.Clonedvd does it in about 20mins.

CPU usuage was pretty good, between 7-25% total.

Burn time this program took 19 minutes
    clonedvd (elby) 15mins.
I did not check how much every other copy would take but it does have this option.

The program is very easy to use, does the encoding /reading first.Make sure you pick the options that suit you.

Although the time in this pic says 31 mins the time does fluctuate down, so thats why i stated 25.03 minutes.

Now sound very good, and in stereo to.I did see one pixelation but it was minor and i think it was the disc and not a result of the program. Can backup entire disc from dvd 9 to 5

Overall i would say that this is a knock off version off elaborate bytes clonedvd ver2.Has the same functions but the face plate has been designed differently.

IT works thats the main thing.

I guess with the limited time i have played with this program i would rate it about 7 out of 10

    I hope this helps you

    andmerr,

Thanks so much for your feedback. I did try the trial version of this but was hesitant to buy because I could not find any reviews anywhere and there are a lot of shady programs out there. The trial version worked pretty quickly and the movie quality, sound and speed were really good also. I do have DVD Shrink but it works extremely slow, 3-6 hrs depending on the movie. I also have DVD Decrypter. DVD Shrink is the only burn tool that I have and with or w/out DVD Decrypter it is very slow. The trial ver of Super Clone DVD worked ten times faster. I've never tried CloneDVD v2 but on the strength of your feedback I will if just for the support alone. Thanks much and good lookin' out.
