SUPER's window won't fit on desktop

Bottom-most area of SUPER's window, seems to run off the screen, but in actuality, dragging as far up as possible reveals the window itself is shrunk and cannot be dragged farther down (in order to see the rows of UI buttons.

This's happening only on an Acer Aspire One netbook. Have tried nearly every combination of settings for the adapter's display properties, ie; screen resolution only affording 1024x600 and 800x600, reduced DPI and even tired switching to each of the dozen listed valid modes, all to no avail.

Ref. XPH SP3, 2009 SUPER v35, w/Plug and Play Monitor on Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family w/chip type of Intel GMA 950 Driver for Mobile.

Kindly limit replies to those having experienced same issue and it's resolution.

In case suggestions are to contact eRightSoft support or forum, same for Acer, they seem to be all non-existent at this time. And yes I'm aware of the widespread complaints for version 35, but reports say that once its installed, users cannot go back to earlier versions (per chance this might resolve the issue).

 

Then use something else.. super doesn't do anything that a multitude of other freeware transcoding applications do... it's just a skin on mencoder.. you can run ffmpeg from the command line as well.. it's faster that way XD

 

What was unclear about my asking only for a resolution.

Forums are not a place where its appropriate for opinionating comments, just as when people go to the doctor, we aren't met with "If it hurts when you do that, just don't do it" advice.

Obviously SUPER users have run into a much bigger issue than it's poorly designed adaptabilty to desktops (since it's forum is shut down and the product is one step now above malware).

All I was asking, was maybe someone who has a bit more experience with netbook sized desktops along with window sizes. How much clearer can one be?

 

so what.. it doesn't fit on your low resolution desktop.. there is no way to change the window opening size.. i looked and there isn't a basic config file, something I have issues with myself sometimes.. but 600 is very low for a vertical max pixel size... and you can't increase the display resolution to fit the window in.. because that is a hardware limitation... so use something else... simple really.. not rocket science.

Experience.. how dare you little junior who doesn't understand that a lcd notebook screen that has 600 vertical elements will not display more than 600 pixels.. RTFM.. I gave you a perfectly reasonable solution to a very simple but impossible to rectify problem.. transcoding on a notebook... buy a proper computer ffs!!

Doesn't it really p-$$ you off when somebody with a brain and heaps of experience comes along and makes you look stupid? use something else instead of whining.. get google out and find one.. there are lots and lots of free transcoding tools to choose from.. or didn't you get that part of my message?
as I said.. they mostly use ffmpeg.. did you google it? it's a command line application and because of that doesn't need 800 pixels high pretty windows to open with.. just a black dos box that you type a nice string of parameters in and the name of the input and output files.. then hit enter and let it go... but that takes some looking and reading doesn't it.. not something people like you who need their asses wiping for them have any concept of..

Forums are much too much exacerbated by people replying to issues when they have no solution.

Even "if" someone would have simply said 'we only know of one fix (besides getting the writer of SUPER to provide a modicum of basic compatibility in it's design) is to use an external monitor.

How hard's that? Or are we embellishing our indignant ego's by claiming to be helpful as opposed to largely just wasting people's time and server space?
