    while looking for a certain program i stumbled across this site ive taken a quick look around and cant find any mention of molevcd, for those that dont know its a template for TMPGEnc that allows you to shrink your 2 hour ripped dvd down to about 500mb so it can fit on a normal blank cd, sorry if some1 already mentioned this before anyways heres the site its in german just translate it with google http://www.molevcd.de/

    Whoa 500MB? You can cram 830MB onto a CD dude (assuming you are burning SVCD).... Realize though that SVCDs can cram about 50 minutes of video per 700MB disc and I think VCDs can cram 70 minutes (dont quote me). If you absolutely must cram an entire DVD onto one CD you are prolly going to have to use AVI files. You can easily fit most DVDs onto one CD that way. Of course you sacrifice standalone compatibility
