Surreal 64: Transfered roms not showing up in emulator

I have Surreal 64 installed on my xbox, and I've transferred a few .v64 roms into the folder e:\apps\emulators\n64\roms\ (this is where the put roms here.txt file was located), and the roms aren't showing up when I restart my xbox and load up surreal 64. I've tried going back and removing all spaces and apostrophes out of the filenames of the roms, but that is not the problem, as they still won't show up. The SNES roms work fine so I know that file transferring and all of that is working correctly. I just can't get the roms to show up in the emulator. What could the problem be?

Did you hit the refresh button?

 

Yes, the phrase "loading roms list" shows up for a nanosecond (I cant only see it if I hit the refresh button many times in a row just to see what it says) and nothing happens. No roms.

 

Go in /E/TDATA/a64fea57/Surreal.ini and edit the rompath to the right directory. It should say something like Rom Path=D:\Roms\ or something similar, just change that to e:\apps\emulators\n64\roms\ and save it. Reboot again and click refresh, should work now.

Didnt work for me did everything you said put in E:\EMULATORS\Surreal64\Roms\ in Surreal.ini file and restarted XBOX. Booted Surreal 64 off the HD and it said no roms found, hit Y to refresh but didnt work. Can you help me???
EDIT::Fixed lol forgot to put the .z64 extension on the end lol

Anyways

- Extract the archive to a directory on your computer.
- Either burn the emulator to DVD or copy it your HDD
- IMPORTANT! You must set the rom path in Surreal.ini before
you use the emulator.
* If your roms are on a DVD then use A:. eg. A:\ROMS\
* If your roms are on your xbox's hdd then use E:,F: or G:. eg. F:\ROMS\
* If your roms and emulator are on the DVD or the roms are in the path
where you installed the emulator use D:. eg. D:\ROMS\
- Launch default.xbe using your dashboard of choice.

HI I'M NEW HERE HOW DO YOU DO IT SO YOU CAN PLAY THEM ON A DVD WITHOUT HAVING TO SAVE THEM TO THE XBOX?

DO I MAKE AN ISO WITH BOTH THE EMULATOR AND THE ROMS OR IN SEPERATE ONES AND THEN JOIN THEM WITH CRAXION?

You download Surreal64 xxx (its not porn lol) extract it and put all roms in the rom folder, make sure all of em are in. Then make an xiso with craxtion.

i maneged to make surrealXXX work on a cd-R the roms list shows but when i choose a game and choose its emulator it says to choose rice something and i dont know which one to choose so i choose watever and it says loading rom and then when it finishes loading the screen goes black and it dosent do nothing

How about u use AID (auto installer duluxe)

to add emulators to the xbox

 

The rice video plugin is what you set it on to make the game show it's picture. Try each of the three different plugins seperately and one will work.

 

Ok i'm having a problem of my mine first of all i dont know where to find a n64 emulator and a rom for it first what does mean second when you get them how do you ftp on the xbox and get them to work also?

the nintendo 64 is too complicated to make it work i made a super nintendo work and it works great of a cd-R.

the rice thing is too complicated i'll stick to the super nes and the sega genesis.
