hello i'm new here but i have been archiving movies and music for awhile and now i want to burn the movies i have, i have 2 mpg files that are 25 fps 352 x 288 size with an ac3 audio format and when i add the file to nero is tells me its an invaild format and wants me to convert the file i was wondering if i turn off the standard compliance or whatever that is and burn the file anyway can it be played in my dvd player ( i know it depends on player ) but is it possibul gspot says i have a pal file...would it be hard to convert basicly my question is what would you guys do ? also i have a few more questions for avi files... i have avi2dvd which settings should i use for the best possibul quality my input files are very nice quality. would you recommend this program for this or something else? i used nero for a few smaller files to burn to vcd and it converted the files for me did all the work and burned it but i was not satisifyed with the picture quality it was blocky and the input file was fine looked like watching it on cable does anyone know how to fix this or why it looked like that? thats about all of my questions and if anyone has any tricks of the trade for making things easier thanks so much
