Hello To all at The Afterdawn Forums!!! Can Any Of The Brilliant Peeps We Have Here Give Me Some expert Advice. I Have Downloaded The Royal rumble and It Has Come Down In Four Svcd Files, File One Is 737 Mb, File 2 Is 721 Mb, File 3 Is 542 Mb, And File File 4 Is 692 Mb. And I Believe It Is Mpeg 2 format Now The Question I Would Like To Ask Is Can I Join All Four Files as a Svcd File And Put It All On DVD To View With DVD Player. Could Anyone Enlighten Me On How To Do It And Would It Be O.k To Convert To DVD And How To Go about It!!!! Many Thanks To You All.
OK...With SVCD Files it is Best to NOT re-encode the Files because it lowers the Quality and Increases the File size and you Just don"t have to...SVCD"s are Mpeg-2 at 480x480 and DVD"s are Mpeg-2 at 720x480 or 352x480 and there is a Program That cam make a DVD which Fools your DVD Player into thinking it is Playing a Normal DVD.... The Program you got to use to Put the Files on to DVD is called "MediaChance DVDLab(Pro)" and if you want to Join the Files so they all Play as a single Movie you will need to use a Mpeg Editor/Joiner called "Womble Mpeg2VCR".... The Software has 30 day demo"s available that you can use to try it out and here is a Guide that will tell you how to Join the Files and use DVDLab to Author your DVD.... http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/svcd_to_dvdr_from_img.cfm Cheers
