Hi I'm having a ton of problems getting numerous error messages (pack synchronization error, unreadable primary volume descriptor, bad packets, etc) when trying to do anything (burn, convert, etc) with an SVCD and I heard it was because of either wrong codecs or codec-incompatibility. Is there any one place I can go to where I can just get ALL the right compatible codecs I need in one swoop (I need them all, since I uninstalled all the ones I had). Thanks!

Not really because there are so many codecs out there, The last thing you want to do is install codec packs and such. For MPEG-2 install WinDVD and that will install a good codec for you.
