Hello I encoded my avi file to SVCD using TMPGenc and burned it on cdr using NERO. I played it on my dvd player BUT the movie image is all shifted to the left side of the screen and big black space on the right. I tried the following setting:
1:1, 16:9, 4:3, with full screen and no margin. But I sitll cann't fix the shifted screen. Does any one know how to fix this? Thank you for your help.

I have found that when you encode to svcd using Nero and Honestech that when played on the TV they are full screen - but they look terrible, with everything stretched vertical. In fact I haven't been able to figure out how not to get this result using Nero.
I have also tried EOVideo and Canopus Procoder and find they "shrink" the original file when converted to svcd. They play best on my TV with the DVD Player set to widescreen, even though I don't have a widescreen TV.
