Hi, I still hope to get an answer to this very nagging problem... Here's what I posted a few days ago: I've been following this great forum to be able to make a SVCD file for DVD viewing. I rip from VHS using FlyDS, which I just found, thank god, because apparently it's the only one that hasn't got a serious frames dropping problem. I've tried VD, Virtual VCR and IuVCR but none were as steady as FlyDS, in my case. I use the HuffYuv codec to get the AVI file and then DVD2SVCD to convert to SVCD (CCE 2.5). The problem is if I use MP3, 44 KHz, 16 bit, 160 Kb/s in the AVI then in the final SVCD there is no voice. A MP2 file is created but there's no sound in it. If I use PCM the sound is still there in the SVCD but there's terrible sync problem. Please, can someone help. Thanks.
