The process svchost.exe is running about 11 times on my system they are under the user names local service, system, and network service. total they use about 65mb ram and randomly one of them will be using 50% cpu usage. i have looked through msconfig and i ant find anyway to stop it from starting when i start windows. so is there anything that i can do to stop it from starting multiple times when windows starts?
Yes, they're supposted to be running that many times. On my brand new laptop, I have 7 of them running. Viruses run under the "user" tab, so system, local service and network service are fine.
