I bought a spiderchip, yes i know, its wasn't a slick move. you don't need to tell me that.
anyway, it has an "On/off" switch, which works fine.
I used to be able to load the M$ bios when it was off, and then it would go to the M$ dash.
But i changed my default dash to EvoX, and i can only boot my xbox with the chip ON.

if i boot with the chip off, when it get's to the dash, it says my xbox needs repair.

When i switch the switch, my xbox turns off. So how the hell am i suposed to play a game wiht the chip off?

So what you did was overwrite the MS dash with the Evox dash? Well, get the original MS dash from a friends Xbox and ftp it to your computer, then load it back on your Xbox.

If i change my default dashboard, then i cant run the evox dash without a cd. that sucks.
