tried to scan a kryptview box for a mate in hollystown. bear in mind this area cannot get nthell broadband of telephone but nthell digital is available without a dish. what is the best symbol rate to scan the box at in hollystown ? i tried 6.875 and got about 12 channels including playboy i tried 6.887 and got nothing i have monitored the kryptview scanning before and it picks up frequencies on both of the symbol rates above Any help would be great thanks in advance.
make sure you choose dublin legacy after factory restore before tuning and you should pick up all channels...
If your picking up channels on 6875 you are on chorus cable, you'd be best off using an older firmware or manually scan on each transponder. There is only 2 symbol rates used by UPC, they are 6887NTL and 6875Chorus
