Hey Lethal you might know how this stuff works.. just a small question for anyone actaully my junkazz computer only has a 40 gb drive. ive got a 60 gb ipod. if i put about 40 of my albums onto it and all of my videos then erase some stuff from itunes to make some more room when i "sync" the ipod to itunes again will it go and erase all the stuff on my ipod that isint in itunes anymore? if it does thats hella stupid, but is there a way to turn that junk off?! cause i aint buying a new hard drive. Thanks Ed
I would use anapod explorer. You have to pay a small price for it, but it is a brilliant program, as it doesn't force synchronization, and subsequently, you can just drag & drop your files on your iPod. It is risky though. If you drop your iPod or it corrupts, you are screwed, I suggest backing everything up on DVD's. Check Anapod out here. http://www.redchairsoftware.com/anapod/
After you put songs and videos on your iPod delete the files from your hard drive but dont delete them out of iTunes. Does that make sense? e.g. The song will still be listed in itunes but when you click to play it on your computer it will not play because the file is deleted from your hd.
Hey your right i deleted some files in the itunes music folder and it still appears in itunes an ipod dont delete it thanks now i dont have to buy some ripoff stupid program
