    Hi

When i start windows, a pop up appears with "unable to start application because system.dll was not found" im not sure what this file does but it sounds important

I have checked in my AVG anti spyware quarantine folder and found system.dll, but it says its infected with "Logger.Delf.mk and its a high risk object. (the file is located in C:\program files\common files\ etc)

    What should i do?

Thanks for any help u can provide

First of all, this is a double post, and when the mods catch it they will call you on it, you should not do that. Second of all you should definitely not restore the file in question, you need to figure out what's trying to run on startup, as this is more than likely malware of some sort, and the system is trying to launch it but unable to due to the missing dll. Run a spyware scan, personally I use 3 diff softwares for that purpose, AVG anti-spyware free, Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE Personal, and Spybot S&D. Run all those on your system after you figure out what this program is, and eliminate it. Check it by going to start>run>msconfig and going to the startup tab, google each .exe that's running under that and uncheck any that are labelled as bad ones, then run all 3 programs and get rid of any malware. Note that any software that you have that's supported by ad/spyware may not run after you run these programs. Good luck.
    -EDIT-
    Spelling correction.
