system restore

    i cant access system restore i get asked what program i want to use to open it,have tried downloading sysrestoreenable but asked same question,i want to run it because thing arnt right after getting rid of some viruses please can anyone help?

    Hmmm.... What OS (operating system) you running?

    If it is Xp the open windows explorer and browse to C:\windows\system32\restore and run the rstrui.exe from there.

    if this doesn't (or does) work, post back and let me know.

    thanks alot i think thats got it for me.for some reason my shortcuts arnt working so have to actually go into files to run them cheers
