System won't install xp, only vista?

    i have a pc that was running vista which i hate and i want to reinstall windows xp. I've try to boot my computer with the xp disc and i keep getting the error BAD_POOL_HEADER.
    i have tried 3 different xp discs and none work. anyone got a solution??

    BTW: vista will install fine
