I just started having a problem with ie8 when I try to open a new window or tab there is a 5-10 second pause before a window or tab opens I have uninstalled and installed ie8 I have ran several spyware and looked at the ad ons load time nothing seems out of wack Please Help I am runing AVG put this problem started just a few days ago.
You could try opening a new "Command Prompt" window by right-clicking and selecting "Run as administrator" at the prompt, run the command "regsvr32 actxprxy.dll" without the quotes. then restart computer. Sometimes this particular DLL does not get registered correctly.
