I know this has been previously posted, but i still don't really know how to do it from viewing the posts. My friend burned me a few cds, which don't have any information to go along with them... All it has is Track1, Track2, etc... They all aren't by the same artist so i don't know who sings each song. I know there are programs out there to use, i'm just not sure how to undertake tagging a song... If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated

if it is a mixed audio CD, then there is no way of automatically retrieving the artist/track title. if it is a copy of an original CD, you can access the freedB and get the CD information, but not with custom mix CDs.

So there's no way to find out songs on a mix cd? If there is, is there some sort of program that I would have to download? If there is not, thank you for your help!

Ask your friend to write you out a track listing and ask him to do the same for any future cd's he burns for you.
