I have two burners in my computer a Philips DVD 8851 and an LG GSA-H10AK. Using DVD Shrink 3.2 and the Philips 8851 it takes me appoximately 10 minutes to do a backup. If I backup the same DVD using the same settings the LG H10 it takes nearly 20 minutes. Both drives seem to have similar specs, so I can't understand why it takes nearly 2 times as long on the LG drive ?????? Any ideas??
Both drives are on the same IDE cable.

This is just the DVD Shrink part of the process. So at this point I have not put in a disk other then the original and letting Shrink do it thing. When I do burn I use TDK DVD-R 16x. Both burners are 16x

Have you checked if DMA is enabled for the other drive?
