Maybe Try Dumping DVD X Copy and useing a different Program for Backing up DVD"s, there are Lots like DVD-Shrink and DVD2One and you can allways Back up the DVD manually But this much more involved...Cheers

Better try DVD Shrink first, which is freeware to see if the problem is with the program and if it doesn't work also try ripping the DVD first with DVD Decrypter and using DVD Shrink again.

CloneDVD with AnyDVD are also very good, but they are commercial. If you already have DVD X Copy you don't need to get another program.

You should also use good quality dvd media as well. The real good ones are the TDK brand. I was able to burn Bulletproof Monk and The Animatrix, both having smooth playbacks and no skipping (except a slight pause since they are dual layered).
