After returning my Sony SDM-HS95PB 19 inch TFT (which was the biggest pile of over priced lagging rubbish I've ever had). I need a new monitor mainly for playing games. At the moment I'm looking at either a View Sonic X924 http://www.hardwarezone.com/articles/view.php?cid=1&id=1529 or the BenQ FP91V+ http://www.hardwarezone.com/articles/view.php?cid=1&id=1529 I have about £400 to spend but could go a bit more if there is something really worth having (After all monitors last a while). Cheers any help. Lou
Out of the two i would go for the View sonic, check out www.aria.co.uk as they have some really good deals on TFT monitors
I got the Hyundai L90D+. It is an 8ms monitor and is very good for gaming. Tom's Hardware is using it as their reference LCD monitor now, what other monitors are compared against. It has both analog and DVI inputs. http://graphics.tomshardware.com/display/20050215/lcd-01.html
I'm tempted to spend a bit more money after reading reviews on this Dell Ultrasharp 2405FPW 24" http://accessories.euro.dell.com/sn...m=1&category_id=6198&page=productlisting.aspx Cheapest I've found it is £700 so it's a bit more but looking like it could be worth it. After all your monitor is the bit of PC kit that lasts the longest before becoming outdated. Lou
