Thanks to all for making it wonderful x-mas for me, by telling me how to rip and burn......I know this is a DVD forum, but does anyone know of any CD music decoder to download. I am abe to copy most of my personal cd's but there are a few stubborn ones.....thank you again...
Moving this to the Audio forum. I recommend trying EAC (Exact Audio Copy). I use it for all my CD ripping and it will even automatically compress to a number of different formats after ripping. I personally archive all my audio CDs to APE (lossless compression) format and archive them on DVDs. EAC lets me do the ripping and compressing with just a couple of clicks.
EAC is king as far as rippers go. follow this guide here for using EAC and LAME mp3 encoder: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/mydeneaclame.cfm For "stubborn" ones that have some form of copy protection, refer to this thread: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/70597
