The 8th Generation of Video Games

I really didn't know where to post this so I posted it here.
Do you think we'll see Apple coming into the Video Game industry in the 8th generation of video games? Do you think the "Sega death" will happen again with Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo? This generation was one of the biggest advances I've seen in video games from the previous generation, What will the 8th Generation show us? Can it even be imagined?

 

i would say virtual reality is closing in on us very, very quickly. we have the video quality, and now everything is becoming a motion sensored craze. need i say more?

 

I think so too. I think that the next gen would be something like Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii combined. Something with the motion sensing of the Wii. Storage media like the PS3 and graphics like the PS3, 360, and the processor like a PS3.


...and the heat output of a space heater... LOL, had to say that.

 

with a pound of thermal compound, and a case welded shut so we cant open it

 

hobbled with some sort of DRM and copy protection that we will eventually crack...

 

I think they will carry on with their previous console

the Apple Pippin 2.... they have already been selling $5 games for ipod so i think they want to go slow at first as they need to know what us consumers want
