I read a review that said The Aviator was one of the best blu-ray discs available. So I was rather surprised when I popped it in and immediately began seeing strange color problems. There was way too much blue and not enough green. The golf course early in the movie has blue grass (Kentucky blue isn't THAT blue). Howard crashes into a field of blue beets. I fiddled with the settings for a while and then reset my projector back to factory settings all to no effect. Then, once they arrive at Katheryn's house, the grass suddenly turns bright green and everything is beautiful again. All my other discs seem to play fine. But it seems odd that a digital video would have a color problem. Has anyone encountered something like this?
As far as I know that is how the movie was intended, it has an off color picture, I have the Blu-ray, I've seen the Sat-TV PPV and I watched it @ the theater when it came out, they all look like that, nothing wrong with your disc. By the way, Great movie!
