is it possible to get a perfect picture after converting an avi file to dvd,i have tried a couple of programsand when panning the movie seems to shutter a bit.is it possible to download a dvd file and use no conversion or would i get a better picture converting from an mpeg file.have used heaps of disks trying out different programs. any help would be good,thanks.......
Yes, it is possible. But, the quality of the encoded mpeg is never going to exceed that of your downloaded avi, so you have to start with good quality avi's that have the least amount of compression. A good encoder is necessary, I use MainConcept and I am fussy as to quality but there are many others, some slower, some faster. As for downloading a file and playing with no conversion, I am unsure of that and will leave that to others.
