    1. What do you recommend, I don't really want to spend more than 70$ on this thing. What store would I get this from, and is it a store you trust yourself?

    2. Has anyone tried running MySims DS on an emulator? What DS emulator gave you the best results? I have a pretty high-end computer, so speed and memory won't be an issue.

    Thank you.

If you want DS and GBA roms you need to spend more than 70$ and all current DS emulator are crap. Meaning that they will run slow and only with a few selected games.

Well I got no$gba which ran MySims great, so that question's answered.

Also, do I need an All-In-One? I only want to play backed up DS games, so do I require both a tool for the gba slot *and* the DS slot? This deal with bypass cards and security boggles me.

You can just get M3 Simply for DS roms.

If you only need DS backups, I'd go with the R4 or M3 Simply, which are almost completely identical, easy to use and excellent compatibility, you can get it pretty cheap at Dealextreme.
You'll also need a MicroSD card, I'd recommend either a Kingston or Sandisk card.

M3 Simply and R4 are technically the same so whatever is cheaper.

I started typing that before you posted... I need to learn to type faster. :p

Dealextreme is doing server maintenance, they'll be back up soon.

it wont cost more than 70 if you get a r4 or m3. but if you also want to get the slot 2 device to play gba games, it might cost alittle more. depends if you already have a micro-sd card. r4/m3 by it self will be from 30-40. then an EZ Flash 3-1 can be around 20-30. so if you get a micro-sd, maybe 1gb or something, it can be under 70 dollars.
