I notice that there are many different versions of the Xbox Media Center floating around, i.e. Zombie, Big Wadger etc. Can anyone recommend the best one? I have tried a couple of them, but find that there are graphics missing and aspects of the interface are broken. For example, the selected drive or file isn't highlighted, making it impossible to know where the cursor is, or the icons are missing in the settings menu. Perhaps there is something wrong with the way I am transferring the files. I have tried a handful of FTP apps, but each had it's own quirky problem from not being able to delete any files to not even seeing any files on the XBox, only the main drives. IE seems to work ok, but who knows :S My network settings seem correct as far as IPs, subnets and gateways are concerned. So I'm stumped as to why I'm having problems! I searched the forums and Googled like mad, but no solutions have fitted my problems. Any help from the experts here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, C.
Ok, I finally found an FTP client that works: FileZilla But there are still graphics and icons missing once I've transferred all the files across. Has no-one else had this problem? C.
Ok, so I fixed it. If anyone has this problem and nothing else works, here's what to do: 1) Backup your E/ drive onto your PC 2) Use the Xenium OS to format the E/ drive 3) Copy the files back I followed the above procedure and everything worked! I'm guessing that this is a pretty rare complaint as I got no replies. Hopefully, if anyone else has missing icons or missing graphics, they'll find this post and know what to do! All the best, C.
