Hi all, i have a Motorola v300 (uk, london)
and i got myself an unofficial USB cabel, i
now need the software because when i connect
them the computer comes up with

    "found new hardware Motorola v300"

    but then needs the driver...
    i went to
    http://www.beavermjr.com/t720/software/index2.cfm

and tryed them both but nothing seems to happen?
it just installs really fast, then does not show
    where it's saved???

So i get the same problem when i connect them...

Also, were can we get this Phone Tools prog?

    Thankz in advance

    Ahhhh

Screw yall, did it my damn self...

People, don't mess with USB drivers an all that crap.

this is how i did it:

1.Get Kazaa (still about on www.filemirrors.com)
    2.search for Motorola...
3.download Motorola Phone Tools (version 1.23)
4.then get the update (from official site)

    Pow...all done.

    Thanks for not helping.

Here's link to the Mobile Phone Tools 3.07:

    www.deannet.com/egd/img/misc/mpt307.exe

Save yourself a copy, they will be moved soon...

    I hope this helps.

ive got a cheap data cable. i thought i had driver problems too but then i discovered it was more todo with the not-so secure connection at the phone end. its not a very solid connection. i think moto should've designed their data interface at the bottom of the phone to be a more secure fitting.

sounds obvious but i put the usb end in the pc first, then phone on the other end as firmly & cleanly as poss, put the thing down & dont jog it!
