Ok I have a toshiba 65 inch dlp 1080p I love it and its the best for when I bought it but I really like the way the samsung lcd's look with a 120 hz refresh rate, and this jut doesnt do it when I watch hd dvd and bluray its really clean but not like a 120 hz refresh tv. I have been looking for another Tv and well I dont want to go down to a 50-55 inch lcd and I found a 72 inch dlp with the led lighting instead of a lamp. I really like the dlp's size and really dont wanna lose any more size for my room. Is the dlp going to be as smooth as the lcd now or is it going to show kinda grainy cause I love the way a lcd makes the picture look so real.
The LED DLP is what I would go with. You are going to get a super clean picture IMO. With these LED DLP's, you will not get the "rainbow effect" that some people claim to see, due to the color wheel no longer present. You also don't have to change out anymore bulbs on the TV which will save you a lot of money. I believe most of those Samsung LED DLP's support 120hz.
thanks for the info I will definately start researching to find out more, like I said my tv is great but its almost a year old and I am definately going to buy a bigger tv so this can go in the bedroom Games look awesome on this tv, but the bluray and hd dvd isnttop notch its better than a standard def dvd but not showing off the true potential of hd.
