I have movies on my hard drive that I want to burn on to DVDs. They are too large for Sonic My DVD to handle so I'm leaving it up to DVD X Platinum to save the day. Trouble has manisfested when I'm given the choice to either gather data from a DVD or from files off the hard drive. The browse button doesn't highlight, I can't get to my precious movies. What's going on?

    Hi slifoxx,

What format are your precious movies in ?? NTSC or PAL ?

If they were in a VIDEO_TS folder I see no reason why your DVD XCopy wouldn't handle them -

    Let me know,

    Pete

I don't have too much to go by that tells me what version of DVD X Platinum I have, the only thing I see is version 321 written on the disk. Sorry Pete, I don't have a clue as to whether they're in NTSC format or PAL. It's a complicated situation indeed!

Okay guys I've found something, I hope it's a good lead. I see V5286 written on the disc in small print.

slifoxx, lets take this one step at a time -

Those files on your HD have some letters at the end of them - they tell us the type of files you have. You can rip the DVD discs with SmartRipper and find out wether they are NTSC or PAL DVD's. What country do you live in ? That will help -

Your using a ripper version. Platinum v4.0.4.15RF is the only version that the browse button works :)
