    What you do with a messenger really it just a reality chat with some friends if you wanna talk with friend well then be with them

    erm, right then.....

    that's exactly what MSN Messenger is all about and programs like it...however i can't see where this thread is heading....

    i actually use messengers a lot. they are handy for talking to people across seas without having to pay long-distance charges. also...if you dont really feel like calling someone..just log on..and there they are :D

    to chat with people abroad you would be better of with [bold]Skype[/bold].Skype is a little program for making free calls over the Internet to anyone else who also has Skype (in case you didn't know) (from Skype.com).

    Yup, skype is indeed very good, there's a version 2.5 beta out now. Also there's stuff like irc which is great for chatting to multiple people too
