    High everyone,

    I'm having a problem compressing the above using DVD Shrink ver 3beta. It reads the disc O.K., however i cannot get it down enough to fit on a DVD R. Even taking virtually everything out i am still 200meg over, thats using maximum compression.

    what movie are you trying to do. shrink automatically will compress to fit a dvd (4.38 gb). I am not sure i understand what kind of problem you are having.

    With series you will have to split it over two discs as you really want to keep the dvd's menus for episodes etc. Squeezing down to one disc on movies is fine as after you have got rid of extras, subtitles etc the movie very rarely needs to be compressed over 15% . Remember most comercial DVDs are Dual layer whereas we only burn single layer thus only half the capacity
