im writing this because im very angry and disappointed.ive brought 4 discman/mp3 players in a few months.the first one a telefunken didnt work the day i got it.the philips one last abgout 3weeks and then it was skipping on every song.the panasonic one lasted about a month before all the buttons stopped working and the dicksmiths one i brought today has problems so im getting a refund tomorrow.ive also been through 5power wave xbox controllers in 4months.my 34cm tv(palsonic) cost my $250 still works which i brought back in 1998 with a 5year warrently and ive even rewired the speakers to get surround sound and that works fine.my $78 digitrax dvd player which i brought beginning of 2004 still works fine and even loads jpg files,mp3s.wav,wmps,mpeg,vcd and svcd and dvd fine.its even multiregion.my computer which my sister got in 1998 has had 1 upgrade and we reformatted it last year and it still works fine.i blame the problem on cheap imports and unqualified little kids overseas putting these electric goods together.Ive very disapointed in the electronics we buy from the shops today.you'd think with todays technology we can build things that last more than 2minutes.please post your comments on here if you have an opinion on this or have experienced similar problems.

just stick with the well known brands. i don't recommend buying unofficial control pads for games consoles. i once bought 2 unnoficial ps2 controllers for £15 and after 2 days they stopped working. i got a refund and for £5 more i got an official sony one which stilll works.
