Okay, I've been reading about Xbox mods for awhile now. I've been here and to xboxscene and have really come up empty handed. I was hoping if I told you guys what I wanted to do, you could point me in the right direction (to the right guides, threads, etc.). I bought a WD 250 HDD to put in my Xbox. At which point I would like to put xbox games and emulators on there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

first you would want to mod the xbox either softmod here is a tutorial
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/218495
or hardmod which is using a modchip
X3 or a Xenium will do just fine cost about 75 shipped......

if you softmod the tutorial for upgrading a softmodded xbox is where my signature is.....

upgrading the HDD with a Hardmod is very easy just go download the AID 3.0 disc and format the HDD....

and if I choose the hardmod option and I put in the new HDD, can I still put Games and emulators on the HD? Personally, which do you prefer...hardmod or softmod?

i prefer hardmods because you can always fix the xbox if it messes up, the xecuter series are the best and yes with a hardmod you can put games and emulators on the HD.....

If I put emulators on my HD, I would have to do that via crossover cable using xbins? I sort of takes bits and pieces from what I read in forums and in tutorials. So I'm not really 100% positive on anything and sometimes i feel like my head is spinning.
